My car is lowered, but that's not other people's problem or responsibility. It's not like everyone on the road showed up at my house one day, drew guns on me, and demanded that I modify my car.
I didn't say nor imply it in a bragging manner. It's one thing to be holding up traffic to where it's backing everyone up, but for the car behind the OP to wait a mere 10 seconds extra so that the OP can safely turn or pull into a parking lot, that's nothing. What about those drivers whose cars aren't even lowered but go well below the speed limit that def. cause a traffic jam? Are they d*cks for wanting to go somewhere with extra precaution?

Gotta park in the garage man.

If you are consciously slowing down traffic without due regard to others on the road then you're just being a self entitled SOB and I'm ashamed to share the community as you lot.

Now I care about my car and I'll do what I can to avoid damaging it, but I also do so in a way where I'm not inconveniencing others. I've also been on the other end of someone slowing to 5mph to go through a dip when coming off the highway. Not only do people miss the turn signal because of these dicks (even if you're not in a hurry, everyone has felt the frustration of missing one due to the incompetence of another driver), they're also causing an unsafe scenario by purposely going slower than the speed of normal traffic. So no, the behavior is not justified just because your car is precious to you. A little empathy for your fellow driver goes a long way. These are not your private road ways.
Okay, first and foremost, take a chill pill dude.

Second, the OP isn't talking about slowing down to 5 mph coming on the expressway. S/he is merely talking about pulling into a gas station or grocery store. Your logic of how the OP should be considerate of others goes both ways. The car behind the OP has to understand not everyone drives a Yukon wanting to go 100 mph.

And your logic also goes back to my question as to the people that drive below the speed limit and hold up traffic at the same time. Are they d*cks because they're too scared to go any faster?

Again, if the OP is modified to a point where s/he has to drive slow, that's different. But if the OP can drive normally and with the flow of traffic, but needs a few extra seconds to pull in somewhere, the car behind can wait.
