This morning its beautiful out, so I go for a drive. Here in NY we had an awful winter, and the roads are just shot, total warzone.
Im not an idiot so when im on a road im not going to slam on my breaks but rather avoid the large potholes and debris.
Whenever I have to make a turn onto an uneven surface, like a parking lot/driveway/or even some streets I have to go slowly or I will scrape the cans, and front chin like crazy.
Today only two people honked at me while giving me the middle finger and cursing out their window, which is not too bad. Normally its a lot more.
Im not trying to be a ****, ****. Im just trying to not destroy my beautiful car. So sorry for taking 10 more seconds out of your extremely important day.
And no, getting as close to my rear bumper as physically possible is not going to make my car go any faster, and no I dont need a push...thanks anyway.

I have to disagree with this whole argument. If you're being a selfish **** by taking up the whole road and inconveniencing others, no matter the degree. You're a d!ck. You're no better than the bimmer owners or the 4x4 pickup owners who seem to get so much flak on these forums for the same ****. If you are consciously slowing down traffic without due regard to others on the road then you're just being a self entitled SOB and I'm ashamed to share the community as you lot.
Now I care about my car and I'll do what I can to avoid damaging it, but I also do so in a way where I'm not inconveniencing others. I've also been on the other end of someone slowing to 5mph to go through a dip when coming off the highway. Not only do people miss the turn signal because of these dicks (even if you're not in a hurry, everyone has felt the frustration of missing one due to the incompetence of another driver), they're also causing an unsafe scenario by purposely going slower than the speed of normal traffic. So no, the behavior is not justified just because your car is precious to you. A little empathy for your fellow driver goes a long way. These are not your private road ways.
