It's about the viscosity of the fluid that the pump was designed for. Nissan's PSF has a different viscosity than Redline's PSF supposedly. Of course, I'm not sure there's any difference between the Nissan PSF for our Z and a Sentra. And the Sentra maintenance says "ONLY Nissan PSF should be used".

The Maintenance section in the 370Z service manual says "Genuine Nissan PSF or equivalent *" and the * says "Dexron VI type ATF may also be used".
