OK gotcha, so VDC does brake hard when it is on and activated. I hate when I forget to turn it off and it causes the whole car to lurch when I try to accelerate quickly. Leaving my neighborhood pulling out onto a 60 mph 3 lane road can be a bit nerve wracking when VDC cuts engine power and brakes for me
