they said this because they have to. tirerack also said it was not good to change OEM tire sizes. so I just order tires without saying what car its for.

as for the ABS/VDC issues: that will only happen if the diameter of the F to R tires is over a certain amount.

as running a 45 or whatever front ratio tire and a 25 rear ratio tire will have the traction control light (little squirrely tires mark one) stuck on because of the diameter difference the ECU thinks your spinning tire.

someone else may know the exactly diameter difference but I think it was like .8" or something. don't quote me on that though.

I also run 265/305 on sport OEM wheels. they are perfect......the tir shop guys hate me because 305s were not the easiest to get on there. fun to watch them wrestle it though haha
