Now when I had my TSX, they failed me for having a crack in the fog light. I went home, tipped the front end off and removed the fog lights. Took it back and it passed. So if you apply the same logic then it shouldn't be an inspected item. Not all cars have side markers like that.
I'm only a little concerned.
My taillights should pass unless the inspector is an ***.

And if I remember correctly indicators and backup lights only need to be visible at 100 feet.
