I almost went through a similar ordeal as you. I drove 6 hours to pick up a g37. I had the salesman do a walk around and said it looked great. He also insisted in letting him do the financing and he would beat my credit union. When I get there the car looks great until you get close to it. It had scratches and chips all over it that had rust showing. I was like hell no I'm not buying this car. He let me test drive a brand new 370z and tried to get me to buy it. I really wanted it but I thought I should get something with a back seat since I have 2 kids. My awesome wife reminded me that I sold my bike to get this car and it could only carry 2 people so it was alright to get a Z. I refused to buy from that dealership and bought my Z a few weeks later. I got 1.99% through my credit union, I never found out what my apr would have been but I bet it wouldn't have been that good.
