Sorry I could not resist.
Let's just say it keeps the coolant and oil warm(er). Don't expect a bunch of difference in the passenger compartment. But the heater
will be pumping hot air a wee bit sooner. I still foresee freezing of some ***. You have heated seats?
This is quite frankly the first I've heard of a non-diesel with a block heater. But Ima from a more temperate zone.
