well if its twisty roads you wont be in high revs the whole time in one gear. you'll be getting on and off the throttle most likely. should be fine.

as for the not smooth gear change i'm not sure. i do know that once in awhile when switching up from 4th to 5th i'll get a slight RPM bump while changing. nothing bad just an ecu glitch.
