Also, I commented several times that I believe that you shouldn't be liable for the $500 deductible based on your insurance policy. Did you mention to your agent about the waiver you are paying for? Maybe, because you didn't first report it within their time requirement it no longer applies.

I'm calling the guy who came to my house to look at my car but he won't pick up my calls. I'll go to a shop and get an estimate tomorrow. The paper attached to the check did state that I am legally able to go to any shop I want. So yeah ill be taking a look. Ill keep you guys updated.
