They're making Eugene a little too uber-goofy, otherwise for the homage to George Romero.

Minor complaints: Carol continues to be an utterly random and unnecessary character. Her interactions with that kid are way out of character --- at least last time she had kids around.

On a related note, AMC really didn't need to have Carol telegraph the possibility of Rick killing Pete or whatever his name is ("have to kill him"? As in locking the guy up isn't even a possibility? A good whupping?)

Having Gabriel go all crazytown/traitor was also weird and unnecessary (not to mention an incredibly **** move considering he left people to die outside his church).

EDIT: looks like me and Dimer had the same interpretations.

The rest of the stuff (Abrham taking over Tobin's job, etc. -- but not the Romero-esque scene, Gabriel's bit or Carol's existence at this point...) all happened pretty much as in the comic.
