Some old pics.
The car when it was first purchased
Moton Club Sport has finally arrived! These bad boys really make my day, until installation problems
First of all, Moton does not supply top hats and I did not realize that, and it does not fit the factory top hat. As you can see, the damper's shaft is too wide to go through. What was Moton smoking?
Fortunately, a friend of mine at V2 Competition hooked my up with Buddy Club whom made extremely impressive top hats that fits perfectly with Moton's supplied sandwiching washers.
Btw, did I tell you that one of it's shaft is shorter then the other making it impossible to fit the top locking nut?
They had to send me one of these sandwiching locks which doesn't really look good at all. It doesn't match the others.
Here's how the others look like.
Anyway, I am quite happy and excited once they're installed
more pics.
My first attempt to make the ever so flimsy splitter lol, it works at Buttonwillow Raceway though, but I doubt it's going to work over 140 mph lol. Pleas note that the second version made by Built 2 Apex is incoming, with pics.
You may ask how I determined the size out front, just find anything you can that works "giggles".
A few pics of the finish product, what do you guys think?
Apologize for the lack of details on the process of building the safety cage by Pit Garage in El Monte CA, but here's some finished pics. If you can't find them, please pm me. Hope you guys like it.
Look closely, you might notice that all the sound deadener's been taken out with dry ice. I do have a small video of it, but I am too lazy to upload to youtube.
One of my favorite color, do you guys go with this color as well?
With the Odyssey PC680 battery relocated as well.
Probably be a good idea to cover it up on the possitive side.
The car getting its first ever corner balance and alignment by a dear friend Steven, and he doesn't want to charge me, but I've always paid a man hard a work "thanks Steven, you da man"
Who here doesn't want to take these home? I am not the only one, I know. Please say it
I am not going to lie, these BBK from StopTech does its job impressive well. A friend with an S2k equipt Willwood BBK told me that his brakes doesn't brake that way this Z brakes, having driven him in my car once. And he was using the same CarboTech brake pads that I used.
This is an add-on equipment that does camber and toes. Incase you are wondering, I had my cambers at -3 all around just to try it out.
Here's the total weight when it was done, please be aware that the wheels are not on the car due the designs of the equipment.
