Very few dealers know how to wash a car. It's usually the lowest employee on the totem pole that gets the job. Some 17 year old kid that drives an '82 accord that's got more primer than original paint (but a $5,000 sound system) is the one 'detailing' it. So they grab a scrub brush, a dirty rag, maybe a razor blade to take the adhesive off from the wrap. Then if they really think they know what they're doing, they'll take a buffer, some cheap silicone filled polish and have at it.

My 10 year old truck looks better than probably 95% of the brand new cars on any given dealer's lot.

But they'll spray some Armor All on your tires to make it all look sweet.
