They stopped using the Rotex a while back. There are conflicting opinions on why.... Some say reliability, others will say it was more of a cost issue. Regardless, HKS thought they could do it just as well on their own because they are using a proprietary centrifugal-style "blower" that is very similar to the Rotex. It has a planetary gearless drive system in a pretty compact size.
