Or if you live downtown and have to constantly smash breaks cause of jay-walkers, random cyclists, pot holes, a-holes, cabbies and a whole bunch of other issues.

Yeah, I do not expect to receive any sort of discount with this device. It was free, and I got it as a joke - I am not one of those paranoid privacy nuts, so the humor of it all is not lost on me.
I have been driving 20 years and never had a single incident. I
know I am a safe driver and I do not care what an insurance company thinks based on a silly generalization that a change in speed of 7 mph/s means you are slamming on your brakes.
The only time I drive my car aggressively is late at night when there's no traffic on the road, but they have this stupid idea that late night is the most dangerous time of day to drive. That's absolutely absurd, it's by far the safest if you are a seasoned driver.
