There are 2 types of repairs as we all know the plug type and the patch type.

I would not be pushing a cars limit on a plug type fix as there has been cases they failed.

For a dd no high speed driving? its Okay it'll get the job done

The other type patch will hold BUT depending on how big the hole was to patch it in the first place, say a good size screw/small bolt? not good But a small nail? Not really a problem.

But ultimately its up to you to use your best judgement.


EDIT: Of course this does not apply if the tire has damage in an unsafe location like near the sidewall or off the thread.
