**Thursday Bump!!**
Hey guys, I know it's been a little while but we're back with some additional Tokyo Auto Salon photos!
We want to share with you guys a very special car. Do Luck has been a long time high-end JDM parts manufacturer that's made some of the nicest aero parts in the industry for various JDM platforms, and we've been fortunate enough to have partnered with them for the past decade.
This year, Do Luck came out with a full wide body kit for the R35 GTR platform that really stood out to us at TAS 2015 so we wanted to share some photos of the kit with you guys.
Check it out and enjoy!!
This new Do Luck R35 wide body kit exemplifies a more futuristic style while also keeping some of the older classic GTR linear profiles.
Here is a 3/4 frontal view of the Do Luck GTR.
Here's a nice close-up side profile of the Do Luck kit. You can really see the details of the side skirts and front wide fenders in this shot.
The Do Luck front wide fenders are extremely aggressive. Do Luck pulled styling ques from the Nismo R34 Z-Tune front fenders by creating the top fender line and added vent at top of the fender. You can see the amount of detail Do Luck has spent on developing this kit. From the carbon fins inside of the the enormous side air vents to the small carbon GTR emblem on the side of the fender. These are top quality parts for one of the best JDM super cars to ever be made.
Speaking attention to detail, check out the extra little trunk panel that's made in carbon. They added this for extra air flow and added aesthetic qualities. Just incredible!!
Moving towards the back of the car, you can see the massive rear wide quarter panels and the super low mount GT wing Do Luck is famous for. The rear fender crease was actually inspired by the fender line of the R34 GTR's rear blister fender.
Do Luck went as far as to develop a brand new exhaust tip design to fit their kit. Influenced by the Nismo R35 GTR, Do Luck created an oval shaped tip engraved with the Do Luck logo to compliment the rear bumper.
Do Luck and Work Wheels Japan collaborated in developing a new wheel specifically or the Do Luck brand. Fully forged and lightweight, these wheels are awesome! Expect a high price tag though as these are very limited and special edition wheels.
All in all, we're very happy with the new looks of the Do Luck GTR wide body kit. We feel fortunate to be able to partner with such a high-quality JDM parts manufacturer with such a great reputation as in the industry as Do Luck has.
We'll be sharing more photos in the coming days so check back with us as we share more of our journey.
