I seem to recall a ford product of the mid-engined variety coming with quite the vengeance. But my fact finding below proves AWD > RWD Mid... in this case

Lap time @ Nurburgring
  • Nissan GT-R Nismo (2015) = 7:08.69
  • Ford GT (2004) = 7:48.00
  • 350z = 8:30

Lap time @ Top Gear
  • Nissan GT-R = 1:17.8
  • Ford GT (2004) = 1:21.9
  • 370z = 1:27.5
