Regardless of the reduced pressure drop it would unfortunately still need a thermostatic plate or bypass for the cooler climates. There would be too much oil to air heat exchange unless you built a Modshack cover.
I do like the teflon wrapped lines though.

We actually sent one out to a customer we have in Ohio to test in cooler climates and all reports are exactally as expected A++, and no need for a theromstat.
I'm sure he'll chime in now that we have the official post up.
With the other kits on the market, they didn't give us anywhere close to the cooling expected, then switched to another company that runs a larger core and we had cold start warming issues.
We've hit the nail on the head with this kit.
I'll post a scale pic for you as well.
