keep in it mind that when those pictures were posted, the cage wasnt finish.
that X door bar configuraton will be stronger than your normal X door where you see some builder cutting the second door bar to make the X.
Mine is bended, welded together and will be reinforced with gusset
similar to one of those ;

edit; this X door bars is about what I intent of doing.
and
when I am on it, the reason why I put an additionnal bar from the front holding plate to the top of the A-pillar is to avoid having the roof colaspt on me in a big crash.
and then , you saw I removed the factory bracing at the rear that connect the floor to the strut tower, by adding those 2 tubes I only added 2 lbs but its now a much stronger point.
I agree I could have used a smaller tubing size for a few area of the cage and save like 5-10lbs but I didn't expect to go that deep in this cage, I originally mentioned I wanted a basic cage but I added some safety feature in it and while at it, reinforce some area... its still not finsh and that will be done in the future.
