The Genesis coupe too, but I hate those cars and didn't even consider them. Really any smaller, RWD, two door is comparable, so throw in the z4 and Porsche Boxster/Cayman as well...heck even used 996/997 911's.

FR-S and BRZ ... fun sports cars to drive, but less than 300hp. They're really good. You know 370Z is kind of a daily sports as they are.
Lancer (Evo) and Subaru WRX are ralley cars on totally different concepts. Fundamentally uncomparable to the Zs. Their fans must have their own reasons and it obviously should make sense.
Hyundai GenCoupes .. I think they're still on progress. Not yet good enough like Nissan is trying to catch up with Porsche .. personally wish they could win the Toyotas that it is from my mother country Korea.
Honda S2000 and Mazda RX8 go too small like FR-Ss, hard to compare to our N/A V6 VQs. don't mean they are bad, just say they literally hard to be compared.
BMW Z4 yeah maybe the very competitor to a Z, but I actually don't think it as a Z's true rival. Just going on that outstanding luxurious brand name 'BMW', without it how many would rate it higher than the Zs ?? It is good but Zs are pretty better overall IMO.
Porsche .. you know Nissan often say it as his rival. Frankly I prefer Zs to any Porsches for their design better. But I must agree they outperform all the Zs in the real driving. All numbers are just Specs on a piece of paper when Nissan emphasizes their numericals.
As a fan, really hope Nissan can beat Porsche in the near future.
