Snow tires would really suck at the drag strip! The rubber compound is designed to remain pliable in cold weather and to grip the ice and when it gets warm they get pretty greasy and slippery! There has been a couple times that the season had changed and I forgot I still had snows on and spun out taking a corner too aggressive for the limited traction.
