I know it is a no brainer for the shipping company (or should be), but make sure they strap your car down in the trailer and tightly to the tie down locations. I had a friend a few years ago sell his 911 (993) turbo to someone across the country, and had it shipped in a enclosed container trailer. The shipper did not tighten the straps down, and the car rocked forward and backward upon every braking, causing damage to the front of the car.
Also, most companies will let you put a car cover on the car if you want, and have your own.
