So, I talked to a sales manager today to try to alleviate some of the anxiety I'm feeling about not knowing for sure if an order was actually placed. I guess I got some good news. The guy told me a few hours after the order was faxed to Nissan, Nissan called and said they had a vehicle slated for March production that was VERY close... the only difference being that the interior was black instead of persimmon. They said they could try to change the spec now and have the persimmon leather put in, and keep the car in queue for March production.

So, as the sales guy told me, best case scenario is I get a car in the March production line, and worst case is I get my car in the April production line.

So... this sounds good to me. But, is the harsh reality that, since I don't have an order number yet, this is all crap, and I still am at the mercy of luck?

Thanks so much for the info
