The 350Z is a much better car for DIY,than the 300zx TT i had,all credit to the Nissan engineers,how on earth did they pack so much "stuff" into the engine bay of the Twin Turbo I will never know,I did a plenum pull once to renew all the small hoses underneath and as long as you were methodical it was OK,but I would have hated to pay a shop to do it.
Also to remove the engine from my 1971 Lotus Elan Sprint takes about 8 hours,most modern cars seem to have more of a component removal system than earlier cars ie 60/70s.
