I have read through this thread with great anticipation of a resolution to the immense internal conflict which has brought our dear OP to desire our consultation.
When I did not get a resolution, I wondered "how do we have a 7 page thread with NO resolution?" and I was brought to a choice. I scrolled to the bottom of the last post on the last page, and I could have chosen the path that most traveled, but this requires something more. So I chose to GO ADVANCED.
Now, here we are, CZIRRFB - just you, the Ricer, and the 370Z forum.
I understand that sometimes the internet does wonky ****, and you may have been redirected here from theS2000.com, or perhaps theRotary.com, or even theFD3S.com, or freecreditscore.com (ok perhaps not that one). But you are here and we can leave how you got here behind us.
First, you chose a username. I have no idea which episode of wheel of fortune you watched to get there. I'm going to guess that the last two letters of your name stand for "FaceBook". I'm gonna call you Mr. Facebook, because I shouldn't have to retype that username repeatedly because you couldn't afford to buy a vowel or two.
Now that I have belabored myself to get here, I'm going to get straight to my point.
I once drove a Chevrolet Cavalier. It was my first car. It was used, had been previously wrecked, and cost $6000. It wasn't much, however, I could make the payments, I could afford insurance on it, I could afford to put gas into it, and I could afford damn near EVERY SINGLE sticker they sold at AutoZone, so I rolled with it. Would I have preferred the Honda Prelude I previously looked at? Yup. Would State Farm have loved for me to buy it? ABSOLUTELY.
I drove that clunker for three years. For three years it got me back and forth to school, work, back to school, back to work, and eventually into the side of a Jaguar at 45 MPH (not my fault, btw).
So long story made significantly shorter - many years later, I went through a couple cars, finished school, got a job, saved some cash, made some silly decisions, blew some cash, saved some more cash. I currently own a 370Z, I'm lining up a GT-R purchase, and I'm not going to finance it at 11% interest. Fix your ******* credit.
