They really overwhelm the content / products.

Crutchfield, Amazon, Newegg... all have navi on the left, just a thought.
3. Anything related to the shopping cart should be immediately obvious. Have a bright purple, or Dark Green to use anytime Shopping or Add is mentioned. That way, users have a mental association of what pieces are for navigation and what pieces are for shopping.
4. Figure out a way to handle shipping costs based on Zip code and product purchased... BEFORE you check out.
YES, i realize that this is very complex... but you're a smart guy :-)
But then again, that's just my opinion... i could be totally wrong.
