No. They are off to the side of the plastic fang panels.

See the attached pics. They are blocked from the grille area by a panel.

If you wanted direct airflow, you could open the panels and run a very short tube from the fang vent and into a hole you cut in the panel. I wouldn't direct the airflow directly at the filter because I'd still be worried about spraying water directly on the filter.
