It sounds like you need to be driving slower not faster
. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. If you slow down a bit you'll handle better and be a lot faster through the turns and especially slaloms. I've seen a lot of drivers leaving several seconds out on the course because they pushed too hard into one corner before a slalom and then were attempting to play catch-up for the rest of the run.
