They were just reviewed in a recent C&D? I think and performed poorly in snow compared to 'regular' performance all season tires and the true winter tires. I can tell you this...having switched from my summer Bridgestones to Blizzak snow tires, the loss of dry traction is enormous. Even in 40F temps, the summer tires had better grip than the winter tires. Granted my winter tires are only 245 vs 275 for the summer tires. If you live somewhere where it snows, the A/S are just a complete compromise with worse dry traction and mediocre snow traction. My plan for next year is use the summer tires up until the very first snow fall or persistent freezing temps. Then switch to winter tires and endure the lame performance.
