One vendor will sell gen 3's for 500 another might sell for 450 another for 475. The whole point is trying to find out our cost to build is so that we share our resources to find out if a potential vendor is over charging you or not. And even if you have, it reverts back to my original question of 'validity and skepitcal about price'. If you were able to get NEW gen 3's for 250, I would call that BS because I know that even used that's a bargain. I'm trying to do you a favour in seeking clarity of your claims but you've come off a bit strong.
What you sell to another person may not be the same price as someone who can bargain, that's private and I do not care for those #'s I care about what listed price was so I can make an informed decision. After all the 'mods' you've done, get a price point. Your new port and polish and see the price point again, to determine 'would it be worth it for me'. You've placed this into the tech section and regardless if you agree or not people want to know price points to determine if it's within budget. I know I don't have an unlimited tap of cash and I want to first do the mods that I can afford that will give me reasonable gains.
And go ahead and report people that you are not comfortable with, but I will restate this again in more simple terms. But I can't give you true numbers you seek till you see the dyno one the 30th. My prices/hook ups have nothing to do with this topic or me from here on out. I get that! That's why I have a FOR SALE THREAD!!! MINES from Japan are $1600 after cores, Z1's are $895 after cores, my TB's are $305 after cores! I don't think I'm the one you need to worry about! My upper is also $70-80 cheaper than Z1. Again, why are you worried about me? I'm sorry if I come off as strong, it's to one member and one member ONLY! I have also shown the increase in CnC/porting WITH the weight savings!! I don't see how I could POSSIBLY show you more info! Z1 doesn't show you that. They just say buy our 62mm TB's and that's it! Mine are 63mm, mine have flat head screws installed, mine are also machined to have a thinner butterfly shaft. This has all been said before and still mine are the cheapest. If you want more info then search the FS thread and ask people who have bought and are happy. I literally can't do anymore.
Well then show me the rule book. Because if you ever PM a person what they paid or got done and both parties don't know you're getting the info...then we all need banned 1000 times over.
PS, again I'm so lost how you think what I paid for stuff has any bearing on this topic. Do you ask owners of a dealership what their hold back and floor planning is on new and used cars? No you don't because it's not your business. They'll tell you invoice and rebates. You don't get to ask what he sold the same car to his wife for.
