Drove to Ohio and back yesterday (woo 19 hour trip) to pick up my rebuilt engine. About the same prices as turbo-ing a 370, but should be a lot more fun once it's back in the car. The shop did TONS of work and it looks great. A few of the major things they did are listed below

Full block and head overhaul, Ground crankshaft, Rear crank seal conversion (and replace all seals in engine), Reconditioned rods, new bearings, balanced rotating assembly, cylinder head cleaned and pressure tested, new valve guides, new (lead-free) exhaust valve seats, ground valves, cylinders relined from 83mm to 87mm (1991cc to 2138cc), rebuilt distributor, rebuit oil pump, Ground Camshaft, New timing chain and tensioner, ARP head studs, new hi-torque starter, new 4 vane water pump and tons of other odds and ends.

Wish I could say I did the work myself, but I figured I'd leave these specialty engines up to the pros. Should be putting out a little bit more grunt than the stock 100bhp, which will be ample in a tiny wooden car.
