There is no difference between the G and Z motor as long as they are both RWD. They are a direct swap. Listen to 1slow370 on the differences if it's AWD.

And just a friendly tip since the oil consumption 'crept' up on you. ALWAYS check your oil every time you fill up the gas tank. A low oil level should never sneak up on you unless you have catastrophic failure and you dump it all on the street at one time. If that happens, you'll know!
