My question is should i get rid of the gas that's been sitting in the car the last 3 months and put fresh gas with stabilizer in or just add stabilizer to whats already there?
Nah. Just fill it up with some fresh premium, without ethanol if you can find it. You won't get a lot of oxidation in that short a period of time but you will get a little octane loss (which fuel stabilizers won't really combat). If you're going to be concerned, it's a lot easier to just dump some StaBil or Seafoam in the tank. If it was me, given the circumstances you describe, I'd put the SeaFoam in the tank and drive to the gas station to fill up.

Given the 8 inches of snow we got last night, my Z ain't going nowhere until the spring. Fortunately, I have a couple of hundred gallons of non-oxygenated premium in a storage tank next to the storage garage.
