Default Installing the Spec Twin DisK Clutch Kit- Street Trim

We built this car 2 years ago. It's running a GTM Twin Turbo Kit and makes just over 500whp on pump. It's time to step our game up with the clutch and so we went with Spec's SS Trim Twin Disk Kit.

The new clutch kit looks very well built. We were very surprised by it's size and weight. We didn't get a chance to pull out the scales but it was impressive.

The material looks very well done, too. It's a backed, 6 pad friction surface with a floating plate that is aligned by groves built into the pressure plate. We really liked that part because a lot of times, there are small lines that get blurred or wear out on other kits that can make future service a little more complicated.

The aluminum flywheel was sturdy and all of the clearance looked very tight and exact.

The kit went together very well, without issue. It looks and fits, great. We can't wait to drive it.

We installed a new slave to work with the clutch as a part of Z Speed's CSC Kit. Joe got this to us real quick so the car should shift, BEAUTIFULLY.

She's ready for the trans to go back into place! We started on it this morning so we should be driving, very soon! We'll be reporting back in just a little while with our initial impressions on the clutch.

You can view the same kit on our website at Spec Super Twin Clutch Kits 09+ 370Z
