I guess it just doesn't seem very "sporting" to not do my own shifting. I haven't looked into it, but they also used to be heavier and had more drivetrain loss. But if you are putting down 324 with just those add ons then it must be pretty efficient.
I've been looking for a couple weeks. I'm about to sell my MR2 and IS300 to consolidate them into one daily driver. Would like to replace the hole in my heart from my MR2 as soon as possible. Would really prefer another mid-engine car, but not very many platforms out there. |
if the Z will be seeing miles then why not bump up to better seats. i made a 1300 mile drive as my first drive in the Z and it was one of the most comfortable i've ever had.
and yes mine is an automatic but i've made every shift in that car since i've bought it. i never have it in auto mode always in manual mode. even the downshifts coming to a stop or when driving hard for tranny braking.
324whp and a sub 13s 1/4 mile so the AT is very good in the 370 trust me
