Nisssan kind of dropped the ball on the 370z in a lot of ways. Not a big deal on a $20,000 used example, but if I paid $40,000 and had brake failure issues on a race track, I would be pissed.
For $20,000, I would get the 370Z(used). For $4x,000, I would pick option 3 and get a Cayman or E92 M3.
Not sure why we have to continually tell people that a pad change is the only thing you need on Z's since 2013. Before that, pad and fluid. Since it's going to be brough up, spend the $600 and get the oil cooler. Even the Z28 was overheating in 80 degree heat on the latest Road and Track test."This is a hot romance in the making—but then it gets too hot. Although ambient temperature is barely in the 80s, three hard laps are enough to send the Camaro's oil temperature around the dial and beyond the 300-degree mark." Sorry, your complaints are minor and mostly invalid in the price range, even at $75,000. The Boss 302 even overheats. Even fuel starvation plagues plenty of "track ready" cars.

Point is, pick a platform, the grass isn't greener on the other side of the hill. You're going to have to sink money in it to take it to a track.
