I can't remember which review it was that said this but it's something that I have found to be rather true.

The frs/brz is a solid 3/10ths car. You can really have fun with it at low speeds if you wanted to. Low speeds = low stakes if you mess up.

The Z is a good 7/10ths car. You simply can't have that much fun with it until you're near the limit and the car really comes alive in your hands. But this means higher speeds and more experience necessary to control it. This usually means driving it on the track if you're trying to stay legal, which I'm sure we all do
