I dont recall that shizel when I was living in the UK, meaning the mirror wasnt etched about objects being closer or such on them. Maybe some cars have it now, who knows..

All I know is that my 1997 BMW M3 the driver side M3 mirror bracket was either slightly more longer or shorter than the passanger side. They were effectively different part numbers.

Check out a UK spec Zee. Notice one mirror sticks out further.
