Thanks, that's what I was pretty much thinking. I steam cleaned the entire cabin, seats, rugs, carpet, upholstery the whole pie inside a few days ago. Just put in the filter, while I was there I decided to clean as much as possible inside the filter compartment before dropping it in. Yes I am OCD

Thanks to the OP and everyone that has contributed to this thread, it was a breeze even in the dark, was too lazy to break out a drop lamp or head lamp.
