Two points. One, you don't have to pay the sticker price. I'm not sure who would actually pay $44k for a Z. People get them at or around invoice all day. That $44k Nissan could easily have been picked up under $40k. Two, you got a lot more creature comforts at the expense of a lot of performance. Hyundai makes a pretty good car these days, but they've still got a way to go as far as making their cars perform. They all seen to underperform their specs.
