(btw the condition of all of these is nearly the same as when I moved in). I couldn't convince my CPA wife to spring $1600+ for an entire new door over the phone, so I just had him do the springs. He got the new ones on just fine and had a successful first test up and back down. He comes back with some spray lube for the springs, hinges, and rollers. Second and final test and the motor craps out. After looking at it for another 30 minutes, he says it cannot be repaired. After showing my wife all of these worn parts, she is convinced we need an entire new door. So we just paid $250+ for springs that are going to be replaced when the new door gets installed
But on the bright side, I'm getting a new, insulated garage door that will be properly installed
A new motor (super silent bat cave style) is going to be installed tomorrow morning, so we can actually use the garage door again. New door will follow shortly after we figure out the details
Oh and disc golf was rescheduled to tomorrow at lunch time after the motor install

All of the above FTW!
