My thinking is Opti-Coating over the Xpel kind of defeats the 'self healing' of the Xpel, but I have heard that is how it's often done.

I'm looking at C Quartz Finest and I'm told it is put on the car after the Xpel has been applied and put over the Xpel as well.

Thanks

we do not opti coat under the film, we have had some issues with that, the xpel will not adhere to it. Optimum states that the coating will not affect the self healing property.
