The way I interpret
Forum Rules: , the no-PMs rule only applies in the Off Topic Section. I think it is safe to assume that it was meant to apply site-wide, but that's not what it says.
Since no private info was revealed and it was used to support a claim, I don't have a problem with it. But this ain't my site, so my opinion means nuts.
