I WAS skeptical about Junkman's and others opinion about 'black ice shine' (or whatever else they package) waxes. Long story short, looking throughout the web you will find the consensus is that most of these black wax/white wax, whatever specific prouduct wax is all the same. Gimmicks.

Now you already pulled the trigger so unless you want to return it you might as well use it. I would also hazzerd a guess and try another reputable product's general line and compare the results. If you can't tell the difference go with the cheaper product. If you can, go with the better results.

I use Meguiar's gold paste wax and I love the smell. I also notice it helped make the car look 'deeper' in colour than prior to application. That was also doing a clay, compound, polish then wax. I have also did that to my Dad's is350 that is also black and produced similiar results. It didn't make the car any more or less shiny (queue polish) but it definitely looks nicer.
