you have to crank the set screws pretty tight on the momo's...otherwise they tend to loosen. when you crank the set screws though, it bites into the shifter shaft thread... like through the rubber grommet they give you.

i had this problem on my G's momo knob before. i fixed the thread using a thread repair tool, and screwed on the specter knob.

also, youll probably want to get a new momo shift boot with the collar inside which will mate with the bottom of the knob cleanly.
