I have a pair of
BIC Venturi Formula 4 speakers (circa 1975) that need a good home. They need new tweeter and bass drivers. The mid-range horns still sounded good when I tried them out about 5 years ago. The grilles are long gone, and the cabinets are not in the best of shape (structurally sound but some dings). A great "project car" for an audio buff. Parts are available at a reasonable cost (see link above). Looks like it will take about $75-100 per speaker for new drivers and grilles. If you want 'em, you gotta come to South Arkansas to get 'em (I figure anybody that will go to the trouble will treat them well).
Still looking for the specs but, IIRC, they are 4 Ohms. Can't remember how much power they can handle. They got pretty loud with the 30-40W systems I used them with. Tend to be a little bass heavy (not necessarily a bad thing

) but got good reviews.
I bought them from the original owner back in late-70s after he blew one of the mid-range drivers. I replaced both mids and used them up until about 20 years ago when the deteriorating surrounds started affecting the sound. They've been sitting unused in my den. I keep meaning to rebuild them but haven't gotten a round tuit so figured I'd give someone else the chance.
