Laser iridotomy (iris hole)
Ima geezer. Getting cataracts and they can cause problems with pressure inside your eye. If your eyes do not drain properly around the edge of the iris it can cause pressure buildup in your eye. This can occur when cataracts form, thickening the lens, pushing the iris out a little and constricting the drain around the edge of the iris. By creating a small hole in the iris, flow is restored and pressure normalizes. This is a type of glaucoma known as Acute Angle-Closure Glaucoma I believe. So there it is. My eyes are fine. I am going to get my lenses replaced sometime next year to take care of the cataracts so my vision will be significantly improved then. No more glasses... except for cool retro aviator sunglasses cuz that's how I role eh?
