considering this has been my first major purchase (ok my computer was big but this was a LOT more lol), first car (my title or banks for another 3.5years), first manual and first baby/girlfriend/wife/talking non-organic buddy... I figured there will be a learning curve.
Heck before I scared to talk so I wouldn't lose focus on driving... now I can talk and drive haha... My gf said she's still 'scared' when I drive but for different reasons now (apparently I'm getting more aggressive but I feel like I leave a fair bit of safety margin) and my other friends noticed the shifting smoothness has improved 100 fold. He made a special mention when I did a very spirited acceleration saying 'that was a huge difference than last month' Had to follow up saying in a good or bad way? He said good!
I love how this car tells you what it will do and react! Well not literally but you can feel it... it's pretty awesome hahaha considering before I considered myself a pretty decent driver I can definitely say my driving has improved substantially but still not amazing although I can say I'm probably a better driver than 90% of the general public... but that's not saying much since everyone on this forum probably is ahhaha!
