No, but it may have a transferable extended warranty.

Doesn't appear to be more prevalent in any particular year. And it's not just a 370Z problem. It doesn't seem to be all that common and Nissan has been pretty good about fixing under warranty. I may be wrong but IIRC, it's one of those if-you-make-it-past-15K-miles-you're-OK things (check the engine/drivetrain sections of this site).

The 7AT seems to be very reliable and the main problem with the 6MT seems to be the CSC.

So far, the 370Z appears to be very reliable. Like all vehicles, it has a few quirks - oil consumption and CSC problems are the worst but oil consumption is not all that common and the CSC problem can be fixed. For the 2009-2010s, the ESCL is a problem but it is easy to disable.
Spend some time browsing the technical sections for problem reports. If it can go wrong, someone has probably posted about it.

I recently got rid of my 2009 Touring that I had very few problems with and they were minor (rear hatch not opening properly, rattle in left window, blemishes on wheels, &c - all fixed under warranty). Great car, I just couldn't find a competent shop in my area. If a decent Nissan shop opens up around here, I may get another one.

FWIW, CarFax, et al, are not always accurate. When I went to sell my Z, the maintenance showed up but nothing about the wreck. Yes, I told the buyer about the wreck - I lost about $500 on the deal but slept well that night.
